Today is the big day! All your hard work has accumulated to the things that are going to happen today; you will finally see the results of all your hard work. However, not all the work is over yet, finish off strong by being on top of the ball at the event today.

Careful planning will leave you prepared for the event. Everyone should have a copy of the day’s schedule, and know everyone’s roles and where they can be found at any point throughout the day, and be able to address any question a participant may have. Whatever that can be controlled should be, and whatever that can not be controlled, like the weather, is not worth worrying about. Good thing you had a plan B for something like that!

During the day, stick with the plans that your team has made. It is easy to lose focus and become distracted, but that plan was made for a reason. If a problem arises, remember to remain calm and try to recall what the protocal was. If you can resolve the issue yourself, take care of it. If you can’t however, be sure to get help as soon as you can. Most of the time the longer you wait to solve an issue, the more complicated it becomes to solve, so act quickly!
